Mary Stanton began her writing career with one of the most-beloved beast fables of our time; THE HEAVENLY HORSE FROM THE OUTERMOST WEST. She loves writing for younger audiences and loves writing about magic but, after the YA fantasy series The Unicorns of Balinor appeared in 1999, she spent most of her career in the adult mystery field. It is magical book about a growing bond between a girl and her unicorn. This book is a great followup from the last book.
I enjoyed the story. It was a nice story about a young princess and her unicorn. Recommend for young readers.
Love it so much I wanted to make sure I had a copy of it for when I have kids or just want a light fun read.
